Dance is a conversation between the body and the soul.

Kathak is one of the oldest forms of Indian classical dances. I established Krisna Priya Kathak Kendra in the year 1996, with the aim to impart knowledge and training of this beautiful dance form to the newer generation. Teaching is my passion and it gives me immense pleasure to be a part and parcel of this learning process and keeping the tradition alive.

It is my belief that art evolves with time and it is important to adapt and progress with grace and subtlety. I love experimenting and blending kathak with other dance forms, thereby creating a fusion. Teaching is a very fulfilling experience and I take pride in watching my students grow, mature and take this art form to the next level.

There is no age for learning and I admit students of all ages and skill sets, as long as they have the passion to learn. We follow an exhaustive curriculum to keep it at par with some of the other the well- known dance schools in the country.
